Team Sheffield welcomes the Homes England Chief Executive, Peter Denton to Sheffield

Stakeholders comprising representatives from Homes England, Sheffield City Council, South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority, South Yorkshire Housing Partnership, South Yorkshire Housing Association and the Sheffield Property Association came together to share with Peter the exciting plans to help accelerate the delivery of new homes in Sheffield, resetting the City Centre by developing a strategy to re-populate and improve vibrancy through the creation of new, distinctive neighbourhoods – ensuring Sheffield is an inclusive, resilient, competitive, productive yet distinctive place with a green agenda at its heart.

This sense of common purpose and common narrative is shaped by the City Centre Strategic VisionDevelopment & Investment Frameworks and The Sheffield Investment Prospectus, and underpinned by the public and private sectors working collaboratively and in partnership, wanting to make Sheffield the very best city it can be.

We are very grateful to Peter for taking time to visit our great city.
